Gajar ka halwa is basically a carrot-based sweet dessert from India. It is a delicious delight during the winter month or especially on some special occasions.

Most people like it after their meal and they also want to eat after their dinner.

Ingredients

Carrots 1 kg
Small cardamom 6
Almonds 10
Pistachio 10
Sugar 2 cups
Chopped walnuts ½ cup
Dry milk powder 2-3 cups
Oil 1 ½ cup
Silver paper for garnish

METHOD OF PREPARING

Peel and grate 1 kg of carrots. Dry the water of the carrots. Then take 1 ½ cups of oil/ghee in the pan and add in 6 small cardamoms. Then add in grated carrots and cook it. Add in 2-3 cups dry milk, 2 cups sugar, and 1.2 cups walnuts and cook it. When the oil starts separating, the halwa is ready. garnish it with 10 chopped almonds, 10 chopped pistachios, and silver paper for garnishing. Now it is ready to serve. To make it yummier you can add khoya which you can find in the shop sweets. You can also garnish it with change kay urk.
